Stellar compilation of everything progressive and electronic from the UK, which is to say - a plethora of gorgeous delights running from placid ambient to drill n' bass. Get this and Touched 2 and basically, you have weeks of joy. Listening to this compilation in 2019 has given me so much delight. About the primer for what's good in IDM of the 2010's. :)

I'm in love with this song! I usually won't listen to something digitally before the vinyl arrives in the mail--I make a real event of its arrival--but I can't stay away from this one. The album has a nice variety of sounds and satisfies my tastes in a way Autechre haven't done for years, while never sounding like a rip-off of Ae's early work. This is terrific.

An example of those records that one discovers in a particular place and forever stick to that memories. Driving around Senja and the Tromsø fjords with this in the background was probably one of the best experiences I've had in winter time Northern Norway. Evocative, perfect vocal samples. A timeless classic. Every time I listen to it I change my favourite track.
